Some materials such as good quality YKK zips and some metal fittings (mainly those with mechanisms such as our trigger hooks for detachable shoulder straps) are not available locally in Kathmandu.Therefore we visit Delhi to purchase these materials from market suppliers, which is always an adventure in itself!
Mostly, these materials are transported to Kathmandu by road freight.
