Our beautifully patterned fine woven dhaka fabric is sourced from a local distributor in Kathmandu who sells these geometric designs made by rural weavers far and wide in Nepal, including rural villages in Palpa, West Nepal. The fabrics are usually made in batches by one weaver, making them difficult to reproduce - which makes each design unique. Read our blog post about dhaka weaving here.

Handmade by a small Nepalese workshop affiliated with the Nepal Leprosy Trust, who employ marginalised people, giving them opportunities through work. We have worked with the team for over ten years developing new products, improving skills and providing equipment for the workshop. As a World Fair Trade Organisation certified member, the workshop give their employees a fair living wage, health care benefits and monthly contributions to their children's school fees.
