When looking in the mirror, hold the scarf corner with the button in your right hand and place on your right shoulder, making sure the scarf width (and other corner) point down the front of your body across your chest. With the length of the scarf, and holding the other corner with the buttonhole, wrap it around your neck twice 360 degrees (it might be a bit tight at first) and button the scarf together. This should leave the other end of the scarf width pointing down your back, with the front width covering your chest, both as pointy triangles. You can then tweak and loosen the scarf wrapped around your neck so it is more comfortable and cosy.
Our merino products are made from supersoft finely spun merino wool; knitted on hand-powered machines, each piece is linked and finished by hand. Wool fabrics are resilient and easy care, providing low temperatures are used, and retain their natural qualities of insulation, breathability and elasticity. Due to its natural antibacterial properties, wool naturally resists odours and requires infrequent laundering. Wool is one of the most sustainable fabrics in existence; renewable and biodegradable, it requires relatively little water for its production. We only use azo-free dyes for our merino, which is mulesing free. Due to the delicate nature of the material, our merino products are individually packaged in plastic wrapping; AURA QUE are continuously trying to reduce waste and we are working towards suitable plastic-free replacement protection for these goods. Read our blog post about how we use merino here.
Finely knitted on hand-operated knitting machines by artisans at a small workshop in the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. The organisation works to fair trade principles. All pieces are finished to a high standard. AURA QUE products are individually handcrafted and the unique story behind each AURA QUE product enhances its charm!
