For many years, customers asked us to create a black bag, but we wanted to develop something softer and more versatile than a harsh flat black. The result is Off Black — a rich woven neutral designed to feel timeless, practical and easy to wear every day.
The weft is woven from the darkest warm grey tones, combined with black yarns that give the overall fabric an almost-black appearance from a distance, while revealing far more depth and texture close up.
This subtle two-tone weave gives the fabric a softer handmade character than plain black fabric and makes it more forgiving in everyday use, helping disguise signs of wear between washes more gently than a solid black bag.
